Retreat Giveaways Round 2

I am still in awe of how many wonderful people donated their time and money to pamper the ladies on our retreat.  If you weren't there- here's your chance to get a little spoiling!

Here are the goods that you can win for the
second round of retreat giveaways:

"Stinky Toes" Necklace: Amy at Stinky Toes Designs really went above and beyond for each of our retreat ladies.  She made each of them a necklace with their first initial on it.  I LOVE mine!  In fact- you can see my 'm' necklace in my haircut pics in the previous post.  I'm not a huge jewelry person (most of the time I don't even wear my wedding rings!) but this necklace is just the perfect casual necklace to wear every day.  I hardly ever take it off!  Stinky Toes Design is giving you a chance to win this gorgeous necklace:
If that saying doesn't sum up life- I don't know what does.  All of Stinky Toes' necklaces are
glass pendants soldered with lead free silver solder for a hammered silver look.  Another perk of ordering from Stinky Toes?  All of the money raised from these necklaces goes to support their family in bringing home their two adorable little girls! So treat yourself to an early Christmas present and order your own initial necklace!  You can check out all of Stinky Toes awesome goods at Amy's etsy shop:

Tastefully Simple Nana's Apple Cake Mix:  If a picture paints a thousand words- check this out:

All I have to say is YUM!  This is Tastefully Simple's delicious Nana's Apple Cake Mix.  All of the mixes (especially the beer bread!) are truly delectable.  My gal Sara donated all of these mixes.  Tastefully Simple makes cooking so easy (and tasty!) with their huge selection of spices, meal kits, drink mixes and desserts!  They have an almond pound cake and I swear, I could just drink the batter with a straw it is so good!  Plus- the mixes all come in these beautifully packaged red boxes.   Just stick a bow on top and this is the perfect hostess gift for all of your holiday parties! (Just FYI- if you invite me to a holiday party this year- expect this as a hostess gift!)

To see the whole line of products- check out Sara's Tastefully Simple website at

Mary Kay Satin Hands: I don't know anyone who doesn't absolutely LOVE Mary Kay's Satin Hands Lotion.  You can take the driest, cracked winter hands and after an application or two of Satin Hands- they are good as new!  Michelle in Indiana so graciously donated a tube of Satin Hands for all of the gals and she tucked one in the box for you!  Also included is an assortment of Mary Kay makeup samples, including lipstick, eyeshadows (and instructions for creating the perfect smokey eye!), cheek color, and a makeup brush assortment.  Jackpot!  This is perfect for creating a great dramatic look for your holiday parties.  Or for attracting someone under the mistletoe... I'm just sayin'.  I love getting to try makeup samples before I commit to them- that is one of the HUGE reasons I LOVE Mary Kay.  This is the perfect opportunity to try out some new shades and new products!  Get in touch with Michelle- she will hook you up!

If you've got lots of women in your office that you need Secret Santa gifts for- load up on tubes (or even trial sizes) or Mary Kay Satin Hands.  Your coworkers will love you for it!  To see all of Michelle's Mary Kay products and for ordering, check out her website at

Lizzie Loo Notecards: Lizzie Loo Photography is our family's personal photographer.  If you'll remember- I told you about a month ago all about how they do FREE sessions for adoptive families!  They do gorgeous work!  Lizzie Loo donated notecard packages full of artful photography shots and southern quotes. (Just so y'all are getting a little taste of Kentucky!)  Plus- they are bundled up so cutely!  These would make a great gift or use them for yourself.  I still love to write letters and drop them in the mail.  Doing it on super cute notecards is even better!

Redken Shampoo SamplesUp for grabs is an assortment of Redken shampoo samples.

These were so graciously donated by Miles' rockin' therapy group- Associates in Pediatric Therapy.  They so badly wanted to hook our ladies up, but really- speech therapy was a little hard to package up, so they decided on shampoos instead :-)  I can't say enough great things about this therapy group.  They understand children with special needs.  They are a one stop shop- they provide everything from speech to physical therapy, to audiology services and child psychologists.  They do tutoring and have autism support groups. That is important to this mom who hates to run all over town!  They truly care about children and make sure that the children they serve are given every opportunity to reach their full potential.  They are a top notch group of therapists with state of the art facilities.  The therapies and services they are providing for my family are making a world of difference!  Check out Associates in Pediatric Therapy at  We LOVE them!!
